Summit County Wins Appeal to Ban Cyanide Use in Gold Mining

The Colorado Court of Appeals says Summit County has the authority to ban open pit cyanide gold mining. The decision favors local control over state mining regulations. Dan Meyers talks to Jeff Parsons, a senior attorney with the Western Mining Action Project, which fought for the bans, and Stuart Sanderson, president of the Colorado Mining Association, which brought the suit against Summit County.
