Xcel Energy Proposes Clean Coal Power Plant

Xcel Energy, the state’s largest utility, is exploring a new and cleaner method of generating power from coal. Many environmentalists laud this new technology as a way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The group Western Resource Advocates has worked with Xcel to bring the technology to Colorado.
