Colorado Volunteers Abroad: Part 2

· May 6, 2010, 9:24 pm

In Part One, KCFR Health Reporter Eric Whitney took us to the poor fishing village of Pucusana, Peru, where the Denver-based charity Project Cure is working to improve local health care. A team of doctors and nurses spent a week there treating patients, and efforts are underway to send a shipping container full of medical supplies to the village. In Part Two, we hear how a Colorado man stumbled across Pucusana, and pulled in dozens of others to give it somehelp. Read Eric Whitney's Reporter's Notebook from Pucusana, Peru.
