Coloradans Remember 9/11: Helping Veterans Heal

· Sep. 9, 2011, 7:23 am

A legacy of 9-11 is the many wounded soldiers coming home from two wars - only to face a new battle – the battle to fit back into civilian life again. Many have crippling wounds you can’t see. Programs aimed at helping these veterans are popping up around the country. In Colorado Springs, hundreds of Fort Carson soldiers are taking part in an intense physical training program-- offered by a group called LifeQuest Transitions. Shanna Lewis filed this report.
