On September 19, psychiatrist and pianist Dr. Richard Kogan stopped by the CPR Performance Studio while in town to give his lecture and performance, “Music and the Mind: George Gershwin.”

Kogan, a graduate of the Julliard School of Music and Harvard Medical School, sat down at our 9-foot Steinway to share his thoughts on how the emotional struggles of this American icon played into his music.
