FEMA Extends Hotel Assistance for Colo. Flood Victims

FEMA announced Friday afternoon it would extend a program that pays for Colorado flood victims to stay in hotels around the area.  The assistance was set to end on Saturday, but with approximately 590 families depending on the program, the federal agency decided on a two-week extension.  The aid is now scheduled to run out on November 2, meaning families will need to check out of their rooms on November 3.

CPR's Pat Mack reported earlier on one woman who is benefiting from the program.
