A confidence index by the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado is up about one percent from the last quarter of 2013.
According to CU economist Richard Wobbekind, the move indicates businesses are feeling more hopeful about what’s happening in Colorado -- and across the country.
"The confidence index reflects what we believe to be the current state of the Colorado economy and the conditions that it’s going to see moving forward," Wobbekind said. “But also reflecting a greater optimism about the national economic conditions as well
Business school forecasters are predicting that in 2014, Colorado will to see continued job growth, continuing rising job numbers from late in 2013.
