Construction has resumed on Denver's new Veterans Affairs hospital after the VA and the project's main builder signed an interim contract.
Kiewit-Turner, which is building the hospital in the Denver suburb of Aurora, stopped construction after a board of appeals ruled the VA breached its contract. The U.S. Civilian Board of Contract Appeals said the VA didn't produce a design that could be built for $604 million, but rather for more than $1 billion.
