Join us Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Tattered Cover at Highlands Ranch, 9315 Dorchester St. Novelist and international human rights lawyer Ausma Zehanat Khan and “Colorado Matters” host Ryan Warner will discuss her new thriller, “The Unquiet Dead.”

The book explores the suspicious death of a war criminal with ties to the Srebrenica massacre in 1995. In this mass murder during the Bosnian War, the Army of Republika Srpska (VKA) took the lives of 8,000 Bosniaks in the town of Srebrenica.

Get insights into the book and perspective from Ausma—a British-born Canadian, a current Denver resident and former editor of “Muslim Girl” magazine.

The event is free to attend. Seating is limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis. If you can’t attend, listen to the interview on CPR News the week of Jan. 19.
