Boulder is considering what to do about short term online rental units that have been spreading around the city.

Rentals of less than 30 days are currently mostly illegal in the city. City councilors are meeting for a study session Tuesday to discuss whether to step up enforcement against the rentals offered through sites like VRBO and Airbnb or to legalize and regulate them.
