I-25 toll increase approved, U.S. 36 toll rates undecided

A group postponed a decision on toll rates for U.S. 36 between Boulder and Denver.

The private consortium managing Highway 36 is asking for a rate just shy of $14 for those without an express pass during peak travel. But state Sen. Matt Jones of Louisville said the group should hold more than today’s hearing.

Board members agreed and decided to seek more public input. The board did approve an increase in I-25 toll rates.
