Denver to vote on pot-growing crackdown
(Photo: CPR/Irvin Coffee) Officials say they're trying to shut down about 60 collective growing operations which are advertised as places to grow pot for people who can't or don't want to grow them at home. Many are not permitted by landlords or homeowners' associations to grow the six plants they're authorized under state law.
