Washing another's feet is a traditional sign of service, humility and cleanliness in Christianity and an important part of the Easter Story. Last Friday, before the Easter holiday, volunteers at the Denver Rescue Mission gathered to feed and wash the feet of hundreds of homeless residents. AP photographer David Zalubowski was there and caught these scenes:

At the Capitol, two new pieces of legislation are aimed at helping Colorado's homeless. One would strike down local panhandling bans and another would help homeless students qualify for instate college tuition.
