Colorado Spotlight this week: Playground Ensemble, Semplice, Zuill Bailey and more

Monday through Friday at 7 p.m., Charley Samson is your connection to the music, voices and happenings of Colorado's classical music community.

Here's what's on tap for the week of April 20. 

Monday

Charley shares a recording from the Boulder Philharmonic, which performs Saturday at Macky Auditorium. 

Tuesday  

Charley presents music by the Musica Sacra Chamber Orchestra, which performs Friday and Saturday.  

WEDNESDAY 

Charley tells the story of Playground Ensemble, a group of local musicians championing new music and Colorado composers. Their next concert is Saturday at the King Center.

Thursday

Charley presents music by Semplice, which performs a concert of English Baroque music on Saturday in Denver. 

FriDAY

Charley shares a performance by Zuill Bailey in the CPR Performance Studio. Bailey is a featured soloist Saturday with the Boulder Philharmonic.
