Some residents of Northeast Denver are uneasy following three shootings in their neighborhood in less than 48 hours. KMGH-TV reports that the neighborhood saw two shootings on Saturday and a third yesterday morning. Police are investigating the possibility of a link between the Saturday shootings but do not believe the Monday incident is related. Residents of the Cole, Whittier and North Park Hill neighborhoods say they worried about the violence. Denver Mayor Michael Hancock said the city will stand with them for their right to live in peace.
