Rivers Running High And Fast Prove Deadly

Two people are dead and two others are missing in tubing and boating accidents on Colorado's swift rivers over the weekend.

On Sunday, a Grand Junction man died after falling out of his inflatable kayak on the Fryingpan River in Basalt. A man also drowned following a tubing accident on the Arkansas River near Pueblo.

In northwestern Colorado, a 34-year-old Denver man was missing Monday after falling into the Green River in Dinosaur National Monument while on rafting trip on Saturday.

Searchers also looked for but failed to find a 20-year-old man who fell off his inner tube in rapids on the South Platte River in Sheridan on Saturday.
