Grand Junction City Manager Nets Severance After Resigning

Grand Junction’s city council has accepted the resignation of city manager Rich Englehart and agreed to a severance payout of more than $100,000, even though Englehart is leaving the job voluntarily. Englehart cites internal and external conflicts that have come up in the past few weeks as his reason for leaving. He’s been Grand Junction’s city manager since 2012.
