Body In Boulder Creek May Be Missing Tuber, Officials Say

The Boulder County coroner will identify a body pulled from Boulder Creek that officials suspect could be a tuber who has been missing for weeks.

A hiker saw the body in the water Tuesday. Rescue crews retrieved the body later that evening.

Boulder County Sheriff's Sgt. Dave Booton told the Daily Camera that a there is a chance the body is that of 35-year-old Chris Danko, who went missing May 12 after tubing late at night. He was last seen struggling to stabilize his tube because the water was moving so fast.
