Last year was a record-setter for the park, with 3.4 million visits, making it the fifth-most popular National Park. So far, 2015 appears on track to beat those numbers the park reported this week.

To handle that growth, the park has set up live webcams at the Beaver Meadows and Fall River entrances on the east side of the park so viewers can anticipate wait times.

Visitors this weekend can to drive to a part of the park that’s been closed to vehicles for more than a year. Old Fall River Road was damaged in the 2013 floods. It reopens this weekend. This 11-mile gravel track was built in 1920 as the first auto route into the park.
