CenturyLink To Cut 1,000 From Workforce

CenturyLink, which employs almost 6,000 people in Colorado, inlcuding about 5,000 in the Denver area, says its laying off about 1,000 workers companywide, the Denver Post reports. The Louisiana-based telecommunications company has not said yet how the layoffs might affect its Colorado workforce.
