Boulder Boys Close In On Little League World Series

A team of Boulder boys could be Colorado's first to play in the Little League World Series.

The Daily Camera reports North Boulder Little League is already the first Colorado team to play in a regional final, beating an Arkansas team 11-9 Wednesday. A win Thursday against a team from Pearland, Texas would give North Boulder a spot in the championship series.

The 14 boys from Boulder fell to Pearland in a 9-1 game Wednesday, but outfielder Trevor Moore says the team and its two top pitchers are rested and ready to compete.

Moore hit two runs against Arkansas. He said the team is focused on playing the game and having a great time.
