Former CU Running Back Jailed For Stealing $12K from bank

Former University of Colorado running back Bobby Purify is serving a two-day jail sentence for stealing thousands of dollars from a Wells Fargo bank where he worked.

The Daily Camera reports Purify, who played for the Buffs from 2000 to 2004, pleaded guilty July 31 to felony theft. He was booked into the Boulder County jail Tuesday.
