Report Finds Problems In El Paso County Sheriff’s Office

A months-long review of the El Paso County Sheriff's Office found that the agency has a culture of distrust and dissatisfaction, lacks communication and has poorly trained supervisors.

The Gazette reports the report released this week by KRW Associates, LLC, was pushed by Sheriff Bill Elder, who took over the troubled agency in January.
