Colorado State University has enrolled its largest and most diverse freshman class ever this fall.
The Denver Post reports that numbers released by the school Tuesday show CSU enrolled 4,737 freshmen, of whom 20 percent are minorities. Total enrollment for the school hit a record high with more than 32,200 students.
University officials say the school also saw an increase in international students this year, with 7.2 percent of students on campus, as well as more first-generation students among new and transfer students at Colorado.
