Parts of northern Colorado are getting an early taste of winter.

Light snow was on the ground in Rocky Mountain National Park on Friday morning after a cold front dropped temperatures into the 20s there. Trail Ridge Road is also temporarily closed until ice on the roadway melted.

Snow was also reported on nearby Cameron Pass.
