Vail Resorts reported $1.4 billion in revenue in the last fiscal year. That’s up about 12 percent from the year before despite drought conditions gripping much of California and Utah, home to four of Vail’s resort properties.
CEO Robert Katz said booming season pass sales and good numbers at its Colorado properties helped the bottom line. Colorado got a good amount of snow especially around the busy holiday travel season.
Vail Resorts reported having 8.2 million skiers last fiscal year.
