Colorado Springs Detective Accused Of Misconduct Resigns

A Colorado Springs homicide detective accused of tampering with evidence in a kidnapping case and lying about having a sexual relationship with the victim is no longer on the job.

The Gazette reported Monday that Paul Patton resigned Oct. 1. A police spokeswoman wouldn't comment on the case against him.
