

The Vail Daily reports that East West Resorts is looking to hire its entire staff Wednesday at a job fair, and other resorts such as the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek started recruiting online as early as August.
Many human resources directors say hiring in the Vail Valley can be a challenge, especially as affordable housing is scarce in the area. While some resorts provide employee housing, many leave temporary workers to find accommodations on their own.

Park Hyatt Director of Human Resources Fernanda Montenegro says they started recruiting early this year in order to give new workers time to find housing.
