Aurora has started licensing residents who rent out their homes through online vacation rental sites. The city granted its first license Friday, reports the Aurora Sentinel

Residents who want to offer their properties on sites like Airbnb must obtain a $38 business permit from the city and collect an lodger’s tax.

Denver is currently working on its own set of rules for short-term residential rentals.
