Authorities say no one survived the crash of a small plane taking off from the Colorado Springs airport.
The private plane crashed around 11 a.m. Monday near nearby Peterson Air Force Base, setting off a small grass fire. Fire chief Chris Riley says it's not clear yet how many people were on board or where the plane was headed.
The crash temporarily shut down one of the air force base's gates. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
