CDOT Says I-70 Winter Traffic Has Eased

State transportation officials say travel along the Interstate 70 mountain corridor has improved partly because of stricter enforcement of the state's new traction law.  It requires all passenger vehicles to have chains or snow tires when the law’s in effect under snowy conditions.  CDOT says the law is being implemented more this fall than in the past, and traffic problems are fewer, partly because of it.
