Star Wars" fever continues to spread with the release of "The Force Awakens" just around the corner. The film, due out on Dec. 18, marks the seventh in the blockbuster series.

So the time seems right for the Denver Art Museum to announce an exhibition based on the franchise. The DAM will use the power of the Force next year when it hosts "Star Wars and the Power of Costume."

According to the museum, the exhibition will focus on costume design.

Take a unique journey into the "Star Wars" universe as characters are brought to life through a dramatic presentation of more than 60 original costumes.

That includes the iconic outfits worn by characters like Darth Vader and Princess LeiaBut patience you must have, as the exhibition won't open until Nov. 13, 2016.
