Vicki Cowart, CEO of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains said Monday that the Colorado Springs health center will reopen February 15th. The announcement comes about two and a half months after a man opened fire there, killing three people.

The group says it is adding “increased security measures” and that part of the facility will be under construction as repair work continues.

In late November, a man armed with an assault-style rifle opened fire inside the center.

Three people were killed, including two civilians and a police officer, and nine were injured before the man surrendered.

The alleged shooter, Robert Dear, Jr., faces 179 counts of first-degree murder, attempted murder, and other charges.
