Man Cited For Careless Driving After Ouray Officer’s Death

A 78-year-old man accused of causing a crash that killed an off-duty Ouray police officer has been cited for careless driving.

The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel reports the man has been issued a summons stemming from the March 14 crash that killed Officer Scott Mills. According to the Colorado State Patrol, the findings of an investigation will be turned over to prosecutors.
