An El Paso County Sheriff's Deputy talks to Robert Lewis Dear during a court appearance on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, in Colorado Springs, Colo. Dear, accused of killing three people and wounding nine others at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood clinic on Nov. 27, was charged with first-degree murder.

The court documents say 57-year-old Robert Lewis Dear told police he attacked the clinic in Colorado Springs because he was upset with the reproductive health organization for performing abortions and "the selling of baby parts." Dear also told investigators he put glue in the locks at an abortion clinic when he lived in South Carolina.
