Free Admission Starts Saturday At Colorado National Parks, Monuments

National Park Week kicks off April 16 and runs through April 24. Free admission will be offered at Rocky Mountain National Park, Mesa Verde, Great Sand Dunes and Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

Visitors can also get free entry to Colorado's national monuments, which include Dinosaur National Monument, Colorado National Monument and Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument.

A variety of activities will take place during the centennial celebration at more than 400 national parks and monuments across the country.
