Aurorans Like Their City, See Room For Improvement

Residents of Aurora are mostly happy with life in Colorado’s third largest city, according to a new survey, but they’d like to see some improvements, especially in transportation.

Reducing traffic and repairing roads is the most important upgrade the city could make, said residents who filled out the survey by the National Research Center in Boulder. Residents’ ratings for street repair and snow removal declined in the survey, compared to one in 2013.

But this year’s report has higher marks from those who say Aurora is a good place to work, raise children, and retire. Around 500 residents completed the questionnaires. Some 375,000 thousand people call Aurora home.
