Stuart and Mattai’s work investigates gardens of the past, present and future through visual collisions of intense colors, pattern and texture that explores the relationship between the hand-made and digitally produced.
After Sunday’s opening, the show will only be open to patrons attending ticketed Buell Theatre events through the end of September and by appointment.
Back in March, the city announced a $200,000 fund as part of its The Next Stage NOW pilot program. Those grants are being used to commission different works in and around the Complex.
Other pop-up events include a contemporary dance performance by Control Group Productions called “WHOLENESS” -- described as “a meditation on darkness and the senses.”
