Mezzo-soprano Michelle DeYoung sings in the CPR Performance Studio, accompanied by conductor Andres Cladera on piano.

Colorado's Michelle DeYoung is a Grammy-winning singer who performs on the world's most prestigious opera stages. The mezzo-soprano has performed in numerous productions with the Metropolitan Opera in New York and performs with the world’s top orchestras.

DeYoung recently joined CPR Classical’s Monika Vischer for an hour of music and conversation in the CPR Performance Studio.

The singer talked about the big break that led her to the Met Opera, working with top conductors and why she still calls Colorado home.
