
Informational Town Hall Meeting for Post-Fire Flood Dangers along Highway 24
Representatives from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, the US Forest Service, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and the town of Cascade are hosting a town hall meeting tomorrow night (Friday) at 6:30 to provide information to the residents of Cascade, Green Mountain Falls, Chipita Park, and the Highway 24 corridor about the potential dangers of post-fire flooding, proper response in case of a flood event and mitigation efforts. The meeting is at Ute Pass Elementary School in Chipita Park.
