Residents of an additional 126 homes can now return after Colorado Springs Utilities, the Police Department, and Office of Emergency Management lifted mandatory evacuation notices as of 5:00. The number of firefighters battling the Waldo Canyon Fire began dropping yesterday, and what was once more than 1500 personnel fighting the blaze is now half that.
