Dave Burdick is the digital managing editor at Colorado Public Radio, where he has the pleasure of working with trusted, experienced journalists, developing online strategy, building audience and being part of a fast-growing newsroom dedicated to reporting news that matters to Coloradans.

He is the founding editor of Denverite, a news organization for Denver know-it-alls, newcomers and everyone in between. Denverite's award-winning journalism starts in the morning with useful and delightful daily newsletters and continues through the day with city government watchdogging, neighborhood-level stories in the community interest and quirky features that readers say make the rapidly growing and changing city of Denver feel like a small town again.

He has previously worked at The Denver Post, The Daily Camera, The Huffington Post, Naropa University up in Boulder and at a Best Buy just down the road from CPR headquarters. His parents are retired local newspaper journalists, and he is married to a freelance journalist. Dave lives in Denver with her and their two children.
