He is the founding editor of Denverite, a news organization for Denver know-it-alls, newcomers and everyone in between. Denverite’s award-winning journalism starts in the morning with useful and delightful daily newsletters and continues through the day with city government watchdogging, neighborhood-level stories in the community interest and quirky features that readers say make the rapidly growing and changing city of Denver feel like a small town again.
He has previously worked at The Denver Post, The Daily Camera, The Huffington Post, Naropa University up in Boulder and at a Best Buy just down the road from CPR headquarters. His parents are retired local newspaper journalists, and he is married to a freelance journalist. Dave lives in Denver with her and their two children.
