Join the Celebration: 10 Years of Colorado Matters Holiday Extravaganza!

Celebrate a decade of holiday cheer with CPR’s signature year-end variety show — The Colorado Matters Holiday Extravaganza! Songs and surprises await you at our new state-of-the-art location, Mapleton Arts Center.

Hosts Ryan Warner, Chandra Thomas Whitfield, and Kabin Thomas welcome you into their cozy “living room,” inspired by the nostalgic charm of 1963’s Judy Garland Christmas Show. Together, they’ll guide you through an evening filled with laughter, heart and unforgettable performances that reflect the diversity and creativity of Colorado.

Doors to the event open at 5 p.m. with the show starting at 5:30 p.m.

This year’s milestone lineup features:

✨ Nick Forster – Grammy-nominated musician and founding member of Hot Rize, headlining with his signature blend of wit and musical mastery.
🌻 Farmer Dave – beloved Colorado musician bringing rootsy charm and warmth to the season, including a special Hanukkah song.
😂 Stephanie McHugh – local comedy favorite and original Mothers Uncorked comic delivering her trademark humor and holiday hilarity.
🎤 Old Man Saxon – acclaimed Denver hip-hop artist celebrates Kwanzaa with kids and a beat.
🎺 Mariachi Las Dahlias – Colorado’s premier all-female mariachi ensemble, adding festive flair and powerful harmonies to the celebration.

🏀 Kyle Speller – the Denver Nuggets announcer will have a unique take on 'Twas The Night Before Christmas

Come celebrate 10 years of community, creativity, and connection — the best way to close out the year with Colorado Public Radio.

Parking info:

Free parking is available in the various parking lots around the Mapleton Arts Center (see map below). There is also street parking along Broadway and in the nearby neighborhoods.
