"Keyboard lovers rejoice! Bravo! Vail’s Artistic Director Anne-Marie McDermott takes center stage, opening with a jewel-like concerto, and a brand-new work commissioned in honor of McDermott’s 10th anniversary season. Originally conceived for keyboard, Bach’s monumental Goldberg Variations is transformed into a vivid exploration of the colors and intimacy of the chamber orchestra’s sound world."
