Colorado Bach Ensemble: Virtual Competition for Young Artists [submissions due Apr. 18]

Colorado Bach Ensemble is excited to announce our first virtual Bach competition for aspiring vocal soloists interested in the music of J. S. Bach. Following a preliminary round of recorded solo submissions due on April 18, 2021, eight finalists will be chosen to participate in a series of open masterclasses held the first week of June with renowned Early Music soloists/teachers. One First Prize Winner and one Runner-Up will be selected at the conclusion of the masterclasses, winning $1000 and $500 respectively. In addition to the cash prizes, each will have a chance to perform with CBE in future seasons at the discretion of the Artistic Director.
