Event Description

Dudamel Conducting Fellow, Chloé Dufresne conducts a lyrical and surprise-filled concert. We feature Gabriel Fauré’s decadently beautiful Masques et Bergamasques Suite, a lush work filled with charm and an underlying pathos. Mozart’s delightful 'Turkish' Violin Concerto No. 5 is a youthful masterpiece that sparkles with lyricism performed by Armenian-born violinist Diana Adamyan, winner of the 2018 Yehudi Menuhin International Competition. French composer Lili Boulanger’s D’un Matin de printemps ('Of a Spring morning') starts the second half– a joyous piece filled with the electricity of the emergence of Spring. Haydn’s concludes with his last and greatest, Symphony No. 104, “London."
