Event Description

"This concert captures the oboe as a romantic instrument in music spanning 250 years. Works will range from Johann Sebastian Bach’s 'Wedding Cantata' – which is one of his few secular Cantatas and celebrates love and marriage – to the gorgeous 'Poem' by Marina Dranishnikova and the lush 'Schilflieder' trio by August Klughardt. This concert features CU faculty Jennifer Bird, Daniel Silver, Hsiao-Ling Lin, and Margaret McDonald."
