Katie Mahan Hour: Virtual New Year’s Concert from Salzburg

"Colorado pianist Katie Mahan invites you to celebrate virtually with a special New Year‘s Concert on the Katie Mahan Hour. Hosted by Classically Alive, the program brings you to the beautiful Marmorsaal of Schloss Mirabell in Salzburg for a program of Bach, Beethoven, Schubert and Liszt. Schloss Mirabell is one of the most visited places in Salzburg, and Mozart and his sister Nannerl performed in the Marmorsaal (Marble Hall) on many occasions. The concert includes Bach‘s beloved Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring, followed by Beethoven’s penultimate Sonata Op. 110, Schubert’s ever popular Four Impromptus Op. 90, and finally Liebestraum by Liszt."
