"The spring season kicks off with a true virtuoso composer and performer, Cameron Carpenter, who is known worldwide for his fearless interpretations of the classics and is the first organist to ever be nominated for a Grammy Award for a solo album. For his Lakewood performance, Carpenter will be drawing from the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, a figure whose compositions have played a critical role in Carpenter’s musical evolution. The Lakewood concert will include 'The Goldberg Variations,' one of the ultimate keyboard challenges."
