"The program is called 'The Force of Destiny' and opens with the overture to Verdi’s La forza del destino, conducted by Cosima Luther. The first half is rounded out by Strauss’s Tod und Verklärung (Death and Transfiguration) conducted by Joe Reyna. On the second half, Reyna leads Price’s Colonial Dance, Bernstein’s 'Glitter and Be Gay' (featuring soprano Megan Pryor) and Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 2 (featuring pianist Michel Bourdoncle)."
